The hallway / sound installation

A person is approaching a single room at the end of a long lonely hallway. Voices of people talking, laughing and gossiping can be heard. As the person approaches, the chatter abrubtly ends with hasty hushes, quickly finishing conversations . When the visitor enters the room it is empty. When he leaves again, the chatter starts again.
